About Me

Hi, my name is Jules Calella and I have been playing music since I started piano lessons in kindergarten. I've been playing guitar for about 15 years and writing music for almost as long. I always loved the symphonic soundtracks of games like Zelda, Final Fantasy, and Halo as well as scores for films from Disney, Pixar, and anything John Williams was involved in. Growing up in the 90s though, a lot of my music interests were in pop-punk, classic rock, alternative, and ska (those were some fun concerts).

Today I enjoy making covers of the music that inspired me and writing original rock tracks blended with symphony orchestras. I love working on the entire process from composing, recording, mixing and mastering, and then finally getting to perform live. I even love teaching others about music, since so much of what I learned was thanks to others sharing their knowledge on YouTube.
