The Music Theory Level 1 flash cards contain three different types of cards.

1. Chord symbols and chord names on one side with the notes they are made up of on the reverse side. All the diatonic triads in the major scales with natural-note keys are provided, meaning a selection of major, minor, and diminished triads are included.
2. Notes of the major scales and the scale degree names.
3. Chord progression cards with the roman numeral representation to test your knowledge of the diatonic triads, ideal for songwriting and improvising over chord changes.

With regular practice, you should be able to quickly recall the notes of a scale, the chords over a chord progression, and the notes within those chords. These skills could be helpful for improvising, writing chord progressions, writing and playing harmonies, and much more.
